NEXEMPA is a potent SGLT2 inhibitor designed to help adults with type 2 diabetes manage their blood glucose effectively by promoting urinary glucose excretion.

COMPOSITION:

• Empagliflozin 10 mg | 25 mg

MODE OF ACTION: Empagliflozin blocks sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) in the kidneys, increasing glucose elimination through urine and lowering plasma glucose levels.

INDICATIONS:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control.
• It can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antihyperglycemic agents when diet and exercise alone are insufficient.

DOSAGE:

• Recommended dose is 1 tablet once daily in the morning, taken with or without food.
• Dose adjustment may be required based on renal function.
